Leonard R. Brand, Ph.D., is Emeritus Professor of Biology and Paleontology at Loma Linda University. He has been teaching and conducting research at LLU for 55 years and has written numerous scientific publications and seven books. Received a Zapara Award for Distinguished Teaching, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Loma Linda University.

Arthur V. Chadwick, Ph.D., is Professor of Biology and Geology at Southwestern Adventist University. He has scientific publications in a number of fields and is the recipient of the Zapara Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Scientific Impact Award for Excellence in Paleontology Research and Education.
