When Del Tackett and I were producing Is Genesis History?, we spent a lot of time talking about the challenges facing creation science.
One of the subjects we discussed was the need for greater funding. We learned there are few places creation scientists can go to have their research funded and promoted. We discovered there are many students who would like to go into creation science, but don’t have a means to support their ongoing studies. We also saw there was an enormous need for more educational materials, especially for younger audiences.
That’s why we started the “The Genesis Fund” in December 2020.
It’s a way for people like yourself to give tax-deductible gifts to help support the advancement of creation science. We’ve partnered with The Nehemiah Foundation (a non-profit organization that supports Christian education) to help train up a new generation of Christians in the truths of Genesis.
You can watch a brief explanation of the fund here, or scroll down to donate. At the bottom of the page is a list of people and projects the fund supports.
How to Donate
All donations are tax-deductible and processed through The Nehemiah Foundation. You may donate on that website with a credit card, PayPal, check or bank transfer. If you have additional questions, please contact us. Click the Donate button now to be taken to The Nehemiah Foundation website.
Areas of Support
The Genesis Fund supports creation scientists and promotes their work to a global audience. The fund also supports creationist education in the following ways:
2026
- We are building a new online platform to connect creation science with the upcoming generation. This will include a single website for New Creation that will include the technical journal, blog, video resources, online creation community, and learning learning system.
- We will publish a new book on dinosaurs with Dr. Matt McLain.
- We will continue to support new research, students, and video education, as well as look for potential funding opportunities for our larger vision of a global creationist research and training organization.
2025
- We hired assistants for Dr. Matt McLain (paleontologist) of Masters University and Dr. John Whitmore (geologist) of Cedarville University to help them with organization, research, and other areas.
- We funded the publication of a new technical journal called New Creation Studies. This will be a place for young scientists to publish their research with veteran scientists on a variety of topics. You can read the first edition here.
- We funded the process of dubbing Is Genesis History? into numerous foreign languages using AI with native speakers; this included Portuguese, German, French, Russian, and Japanese. We also started dubbing the Beyond Is Genesis History? series into Portuguese. All films are now available to a global audience on YouTube.
- We published two new books on creation science. Compact Time by Dr. John C. Walton explores radiocarbon dating and begins work on recalibrating it to a young earth timeframe (available Oct 2025). Geological History with Insights from Genesis and Geology by Dr. Leonard Brand and Dr. Arthur Chadwick pulls together the important geological, biological, and paleontological research done by these two brilliant scientists over the past 40 years (available Dec 2025).
- We funded a dozen students and foreign scientists to attend conferences this summer: the Creation Research Society Conference in St. Louis, MO and the Origins Conference in Dayton, TN.
- We funded a research project on the famous “Lucy” hominin fossil exhibit in partnership with CORE Academy of Science. We are also partnering with CORE to do additional research on the human fossil record (paleoanthropology) in order to integrate it with the history from Adam to Abraham.
- We filmed two series of technical lectures with Dr. Steve Austin highlighting his work in the Dead Sea and the Grand Canyon, and Dr. Joe Francis exploring his work in microbiology and germs.
- We hired two new people to help us grow and manage the work being done by the Genesis Fund: Sandy Hay is in charge of donor relations, and Jake Ramgren is a project coordinator for our various endeavors.
- We continued to fund the students and young scientists writing New Creation blog. They published dozens of new articles on archeology, paleontology, biology, and much more.
2024
- We built an online creation community and learning management system that will educate young creationists and provide established creation scientists with a place to discuss and publish new ideas.
- We provided funding for two new academic books on young earth creation, one on theology and the other on science. These will be published by a major Christian publisher in 2025.
- We funded a South African scientist with a PhD in wildlife ecology to come for the first time to the United States to attend two creation conferences. We also provided scholarships to all the New Creation blog student writers to attend the same conferences.
- We filmed a new series of technical videos with Dr. Kurt Wise covering a wide variety of topics, from post-flood biogeographical diversification to natural evil to the fossil record. You can watch them here.
- We released Dr. Doug Petrovich’s new video series, Basics of Biblical Archeology on YouTube. We funded the production of this series in prior years, so are happy to see it being released publicly for anyone to see.
Ongoing & Past Projects
- We fund New Creation Blog and all the student writers who regularly publish on the blog. They have written and edited nearly a hundred articles and posts on a variety of topics in creation science. The importance of this blog is that it provides upcoming creation scientists a place to present new ideas. In early 2023, they started New Creation podcast.
- We funded the filming of the International Conference on Creation in 2023. The lectures are currently being edited and will be released on the ICC site. We also provided scholarships for six students to attend ICC.
- We publish books by creationist authors. The following books have been published by us, with new books regularly being developed.
- The Quest – Todd Wood (2019)
- Fossils and the Flood – Paul Garner (2021)
- The Origin of the Hebrews – Doug Petrovich (2022)
- We provide funds for scientists pursuing new research projects as well as creationist education. The following groups have received funds:
- Core Academy of Science
- Association for Creation
- We produce new video series on creationist and Bible subjects:
- Origins Conference 2020
- We provide scholarship funds for creationist students pursuing science degrees, as well as support for students attending conferences such as the International Conference on Creationism.
Thank you for your willingness to partner with us to support creation science. Their work and research is not publicly funded, so it can only advance if individuals like you support it.
