Are you a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for creation science and social media? We are looking for a part-time Social Media & YouTube Assistant to manage and grow our online presence across multiple platforms. If you have strong writing skills, a good sense of design, and a solid understanding of creation science in areas like geology and biology, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and post engaging organic content (text, images, and videos) across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Write compelling captions, headlines, and descriptions to enhance engagement.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to optimize content reach.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube).
- Knowledge of creation science in key scientific areas (geology, biology, etc.).
- Excellent writing skills with strong grammar and storytelling ability.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- A good sense of design for creating visually appealing posts.
- Experience using Canva (or other layout/design app)

AI-Powered Creation Science Video Editor
We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy part-time AI-Powered Creation Science Video Editor to produce science videos for YouTube and other platforms. Alongside normal video editing skills, this role requires expertise in AI-assisted content generation, video editing, and storytelling. You will be responsible for summarizing research papers into scripts, sourcing and generating visuals, and editing final videos.
Responsibilities
- Use AI tools to summarize technical papers into engaging, digestible scripts.
- Identify and source appropriate b-roll from stock footage, pre-existing Is Genesis History? footage, and AI-generated visuals.
- Generate AI-assisted images and videos to enhance storytelling.
- Utilize AI-driven voiceover tools to create natural-sounding narration.
- Edit and assemble all elements using to create compelling, high-quality videos (Final Cut Pro is the preferred editing platform).
- Optimize videos for different social media platforms.
- Maintain brand consistency and scientific accuracy in all videos.
Required Skills & Experience
- Video Editing: Proficiency in Final Cut Pro (experience with Premiere Pro is a plus).
- AI Tools: Experience with AI-based text summarization, video generation, voice synthesis, and image creation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs).
- Storytelling & Scriptwriting: Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts into engaging narratives using AI. (Scientists will be available for script-checking.)
- Visual Sourcing: Knowledge of stock footage platforms and licensing.
- Science & Research: Background or strong interest in creation science.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure scientific accuracy while keeping content engaging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating short-form content for social media.
- Background in science communication, journalism, or media production.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
